LED (light emitting diode) light therapy is an advanced, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that corrects numerous skin concerns, including acne and fine lines. Each treatment available from Zero Gravity is unique, and the various options are often used in combination with each other.

Zero Gravity treatments are designed to brighten, even, and smooth the complexion. There are several types of LED lights, including red and blue, that each address different types of concerns.

Blue light has soothing and comforting effects on the skin. It targets superficial issues.

Red light is highly beneficial for addressing surface-level problems while simultaneously promoting the production of collagen and elastin, since it can penetrate deeper into the skin.

Red and blue light treatments can be combined and used all over the body.

The most common conditions and blemishes that are treated with Zero Gravity include acne, acne scars or other scars, rosacea, uneven skin texture, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Perfectio X™, which is part of the X Series by Zero Gravity, is a red and infrared LED light therapy device with proven anti-aging benefits. By boosting ATP (stored energy within the body) to speed up cellular repair, it helps to rejuvenate the skin. The Perfectio X™ device provides topical heating and deeper rejuvenation to reduce inflammation and temporarily provide relief from pain or stiffness in the joints or muscles, promote muscle relaxation, and boost blood circulation so that more oxygen and nutrients are delivered to cells. Additionally, this Zero Gravity treatment can soften fine lines and wrinkles, firm and tighten the skin, and correct uneven pigmentation. The treatment penetrates two to three millimeters below the skin to reach the dermis and hypodermis. A state-of-the-art device, Zero Gravity’s Perfectio X™ employs the same infrared light technology that NASA uses to grow plants in space.

Some of the major benefits of Sapphire X™ are that it targets bacteria, detoxifies the skin, and corrects inflammation, redness, and scars. This Zero Gravity treatment penetrates one millimeter below the skin and reaches the epidermis.

Perfectio X™ and Sapphire X™ are the perfect combination: Sapphire X™ can be used first to address surface level concerns followed by Perfectio X™ for deeper problems.

Genesis Z is a red light treatment that gently and precisely delivers energy to revitalize all three layers of the skin. It supports the production of collagen and elastin while minimizing skin imperfections. The increased production of cells, collagen, and elastin boosts volume in the skin and softens wrinkles.

GENESIS PRIME combines radiofrequency (RF), infrared light technology, and topical heating to minimize signs of aging and restore a more youthful, glowing, and refreshed appearance. All three layers of the skin are heated without causing damage or irritation. This Zero Gravity treatment promotes collagen and elastin production. The topical heating also promotes blood circulation.

Aecor Max is a Zero Gravity light therapy system that uses Narrowband High Intensity Light Emitting Diodes to improve health, comfort, and beauty. It includes several different modes, such as infrared light, red light, calcium supplement light, and blue light, each of which has its own unique advantages. The body absorbs the light from the treatment, which triggers collagen and elastin production while also supporting cell regeneration.

These types of LED light therapy treatments are safe for all skin types. However, patients who have very large or severe skin concerns, have certain chronic medical conditions, or are pregnant may not be good candidates for Zero Gravity.

Treatments are gentle, pain-free, non-invasive, and non-abrasive. There is no downtime required after Zero Gravity light treatments, so patients can resume their normal activities right away. Good skin care practices and sun protection will help you to optimize the results from Zero Gravity.

Patients will notice smoother, more even skin shortly after their Zero Gravity treatments. For optimal results, Perfectio X™ and Sapphire X™ will need to be used twice weekly for a total of eight treatments, after which patients can choose whether to continue once-monthly treatments for maintenance or to undergo another series depending on the results, their expectations, and other factors.

Along with Zero Gravity devices, Dr. Ellen Turner’s Dallas- and Irving-based Dermatology Office provides a variety of cosmetic treatments for enhancing the look and feel of the skin. These include more laser and light-based options, such as IPL (photorejuvenation), laser skin resurfacing, Sciton^® Halo™, and other laser procedures. Laser skin treatments may often require more downtime than light-based treatments, but produce more dramatic results and may be better for certain types of concerns.

Chemical peels boost skin cell turnover, while microneedling promotes collagen production help to enhance the skin. Minimally invasive injectable treatments including dermal fillers and neuromodulators like BOTOX^® Cosmetic temporarily reduce different types of facial wrinkles. Radiesse^® and other biostimulatory fillers encourage the production of collagen to improve volume and revitalize your appearance.
