InstaLift™ Can Lift, Firm, and Reshape Your Breasts Without Surgery
Want your breasts to be rounder, more uplifted, and youthful-looking without surgery or conspicuous scarring? A non-surgical breast lift with Silhouette InstaLift™—also known as a breast “feather lift” procedure—is an advanced breast enhancement technique that works in a similar way to using the special threads for facial rejuvenation. A non-surgical breast lift from the Dallas area’s Dr. Ellen Turner and her team can elevate your breasts to a higher position on the chest. Though the results are not as dramatic as those possible with surgery, this breakthrough treatment is much less invasive and safer than conventional surgical procedures involving incisions and anesthetics. A non-surgical breast lift won’t increase your breast size. It’s meant to give the breasts a slight lift.

Why Do Breasts Sag and Lose Their Shape?
A non-surgical breast lift is ideal for rejuvenating sagging breasts, but you might be wondering why breasts begin to “droop” in the first place.
The shape and appearance of an average woman’s breasts can change significantly during her lifetime. You may find that the breasts you have at age 20 are very different from the breasts you have a few decades later.
Chronological aging is the primary cause of breast sagging (technically known as “female breast ptosis”), since the breasts have less support as glandular tissue diminishes, the ligaments that hold them up become stretched out and inelastic, and the skin loses collagen to become frailer and thinner. All of these issues can be further compounded by pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Other factors contributing to sagging include the effects of gravity, genetics, sun damage, and hormonal changes during menopause. Women with a larger breast size are more prone to losing density in their breasts. Smoking can also cause premature aging of the skin, and thus breast sagging at an earlier stage of life.
No matter the cause, breasts often begin to feel less firm and appear less full over time, developing a wider space between them. Patients who dislike these changes may want to consider having a non-surgical breast lift to restore their breast shape and position.
Who is an Ideal Candidate for a Non-Surgical Breast Lift?
This treatment is designed for patients with smaller breasts who have mild to moderate breast sagging or asymmetry, as opposed to more severe drooping. It may not be suited to patients who have bleeding disorders or are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
What Does a Non-Surgical Breast Lift Involve?
The bio compatible, temporary sutures used in each Silhouette InstaLift™ treatment are studded with tiny cones that fasten to tissue when they are threaded through. As the threads are pulled in the direction of your collarbone, this Micro-Suspension Technology™ also moves the breasts upward.
The sutures used in a non-surgical breast lift, known as PDO threads, consist of the same absorb able material used for surgical stitches and for non-surgical butt lifts. Because these PDO threads and the necessary incisions to insert them are so tiny, patients won’t end up with the large, linear scars associated with surgery. Any scars that do appear should be barely visible and lighten quickly with time.
Along with elevating the breasts by forming a framework to support them against the pull of gravity, a non-surgical breast lift also has other benefits: It improves collagen production as well as fibroblast stimulation to volumize the skin and improve its texture over time.
Non-Surgical Breast Lift Recovery
A non-surgical breast lift is a relatively quick procedure, taking around an hour to complete. Most of the time, it only causes minor discomfort, and patients can resume their activities with minimal downtime. It’s normal to have some minor swelling, bruising, and soreness for a few days after. The threads are eventually absorbed after several months, but the structure of your skin will be stronger thanks to the new collagen that grows around the threads before they dissolve.
Non-surgical breast lift results are temporary, as the breasts will continue to change over time, but you can return for additional maintenance sessions if you wish. Expect the effects of a non-surgical breast lift to last for up to two years. To prevent further sagging, try to maintain a stable weight, wear a comfortable bra that fits well, avoid smoking, and strengthen your pectoral muscles.
