80-90 Years Gender:Female CASE STUDY An 86-year-old female presented to Dr.Turner with complaint that his ear and face had developed a rash for several months. She had been seen by her primary doctor and treated with multiple oral antibiotics and topical creams.Dr.Turner was concerned that it was a possible skin cancer so she biopsied the lesion and found it was herpes. Chronic herpes is very difficult to treat, especially in the elderly. However Dr.Turner was able to achieve remission and control using both oral and topical anti-virals.
